West Lothian Walking Week 19th-25th September 2011

West Lothian Walking Week

19th – 25th September 20 1 1

Just 30 minutes walking a day can make a dramatic difference to your health and wellbeing.

Being physically active can help you sleep better, reduce your feelings of stress and anxiety, and help with weight management. It’s also proven to reduce the risk of many health conditions, such as heart disease, stroke, dementia, diabetes and some types of cancer.

The local, natural environment is a great place to get your daily dose of physical activity. What better way to get out and about than by exploring the beautiful scenery which West Lothian has to offer.

Whether you are an experienced walker or a total beginner, West Lothian Walking Week offers you the chance to enjoy a variety of walks from country parks to the woodlands, along canals and into nature reserves, exploring the beautiful landscape. Best of all, most of the guided walks and activities are absolutely free!

Booking is ESSENTIAL and you can register onto a walk or ask for a programme by contacting:
